Arcadia Reptile Deep Heat Projector 50W - 110-120V

My leopard gecko is thriving once I replaced his heatmat with this bulb. It's emits zero light and heat a piece of dark slate which he basks in hilarious body positions. I noticed a difference in his energy so 5 stars.

Getting the right environment for my BP was tricky in my house. My CHE’s were hardly warm enough and took too much humidity. It was a struggle until I got this DHP! After installing it the ambient temps were up to 32°C in a day AND the substrate felt warm once it absorbed the heat from this projector. My python has been out almost each night (and day!) to explore and enjoy the heat and I’m so happy to see him. This is only with a 50w projector. I am super impressed and satisfied with this purchase and would recommend to other reptile owners.

We were desperate for these and but to COVID-19, they weren't available anywhere in the USA. I found ReptilesRUs by way of a Google Search and was impressed by their quick response when I asked if they shipped to Texas. Needless to say, while I spent an extra $35 USD to have the two projectors shipped from Canada, I was nothing but impressed with the service provided. I had them in less than a week while these wouldn't be available in the USA for another three weeks. My son's geckos are happy now!

I use this on a dimming thermostat to heat my frog's bioactive tank. The frog has been more active/better appetite since switching to this from a regular heat lamp. I don't know if that's because of the increase in temperature I've been able to achieve now or if it has anything to do with the special infrared that's advertised, but he seems happy. It heats up with zero light at all, which makes me happy since the tank is kept in a bedroom.

Using this product is really good when you are trying to find an alternative to ceramic heat emitters that destroy humidity, this hits it out of the park. Was able to heat my enclosure without disrupting my reptiles sleep wake cycle and didn’t effect my humidity AND it heated up my eclogues really nicely. Also, this store is really good and got me this product in 5-7 day when they are in Canada and I’m in the US. Arrived in one piece and I’d be happy to do buisness again.
