Arcadia D3+ Reptile Lamp T5 12% UVB range are fluorescent strip lights that dose your reptile up with essential UV light, to a percentage that is perfect for keeping desert reptiles, who require plenty to generate enough D3 to keep MBD at bay. This is a T5 version too, meaning it is more energy efficient than T8 models and generates more light per watt.
For desert reptiles such as Bearded Dragons kept in vivariums, the Arcadia D3+ UV T5 Reptile Lamp is perfect for giving them the UVB light they need to generate the all-important Vitamin D3 they need to absorb calcium.
The Arcadia D3+ Reptile Lamp has a higher UV light output that most reptile strip lights - a healthy 12% UV, better simulating the natural light your reptile would have received in desert conditions, where foliage and cloud cover are limited and your reptile would bask in the full heat and UV light of the sun.
This basking in UV means your reptile can synthesise vitamin D3 - an essential part of reptile keeping - allowing them to assimilate the dietary calcium in their food and turn it into strong and healthy bones, avoiding otherwise common deformities and MBD.

The reptile lamp should be positioned between 15 and 20cm above the reptile's head to maximise the scope of the lamp, and it is best used with a T5 reflector to ensure more of the light is shone towards your reptile.

Very happy
Very happy with the Arcadia 12% + D3. We have been using reptisun 10's for a while now. Tested the bulb with our Solarmeter 6.5,, this lamp produces far more UVB than anything we have used before. Arrived quickly and in one piece. :)

Using on chameleon she loves it
A lot of research has brought me here. 18 inches of such rays if not more. Long life for uvb output. My Caviera changes to her sunlight colours when under it. Go my seal of approval.

Acadia lighting
I did alot of research and had been using repti sun 10.0 and yes a fine product but NOTHING compared to arcadia i am 100% sold and this is the only product i will use on my reptiles from her out . Also bought sunblaster fixtures and reflectors well worth the money . And ordered all from reptils r us again 100% impressed with this company product arrived fast and in perfect condition company was beyind helpful and answered all questions and educated me on what i needed . Can not thank them enough and also a huge thank you from the reptiles :)
